We really are becoming a Hummingbird society. The heaviest rocket ever launched into space, and the coverage in the mainstream media was … minimal.

Well, Elon bad, so have to ignore. <grunt, scratch>

Sad.

Maybe it’s time to use an accurate name for the fifth column “legacy” “media”. They are after all neither mainstream nor a medium. They’re more a colluding, side stream neo-Marxist propaganda organization. Maybe we should have a naming contest? My fist passes: “side stream (or, maybe 'bottom) feeders”; “sludge stream poseurs or hoseurs”. There must be more - it’s a target rich concept.

It is hard to count the ways in which the formerly “mainstream” Western media are underperforming. While they generally downplayed the Starship launch, they seem to have completely ignored China’s launch of another batch of astronauts to the Chinese Space Station.

China successfully launches Shenzhou-23 manned spacecraft to Chinese space station - Global Times

Civilizational Confidence: while US politicians insisted on pretending the largely US-funded space station is the “International Space Station”, China is quite happy to have a Chinese Space Station – damn proud of it, in fact! This tentativeness on the part of our politicians suggests the rot in the West goes much deeper than merely underperforming media denizens.
