Over its history, Sony has introduced many innovative products, some of which, such as the Walkman, defined entirely new product categories. The CFS-C7 CHORDMACHINE, introduced in 1982 and sold only in Japan was, however, not one of them and was quickly forgotten. It is difficult to imagine for whom this was intended or how it might have been used.
