What's next after Trump won ....

That assumes that the theatre is somehow representative of what’s actually going on—I don’t believe that.

If there is a vibe shift it is only because whoever actually rules the world has decided that it is now expedient for whatever nefarious end that benefits them.

It provides clues for what’s going on. Nobody is saying it is a simple representation. Hence, the analogy with Kremlinology.

Again, the statement is that there is a vibe shift. Nowhere is it attributed to any party in particular. Even you have no idea who that might be. Hence the expression “for whatever reason.”

A more careful reading of what I wrote would have obviated the need for the present comment.

FEMA employees fired over ‘egregious’ payment for NYC migrants

"Four Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) employees have been fired for sending $59 million to New York City to house and care for illegal migrants, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals for circumventing leadership to unilaterally make egregious payments for luxury NYC hotels for migrants,” DHS officials said in a statement obtained by The Post.

The firings, first reported by Fox, include FEMA’s Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts and a grant specialist."

Well, it is a start. I would still prefer the rumored Chinese procedure – take them down to the soccer stadium, shot them in public view (in the head, since their brains are useless), and then extract their organs to give to honest people who desperately need transplants.

Seriously, if 4 people in a government organization can give away $59,000,000 of other people’s money in spite of direct orders from higher authority, how can there not be corruption on a massive scale? The temptation and the opportunity for kickbacks is simply too high.

So, now that Trump has been in office for 3 weeks, it looks like the idea of corruption and misappropriation has taken on a whole new meaning… as it is now becoming apparent that it is happening in USA - big times.

Trump hit the ground running, and to big surprise for the “deep state”…

Here is one of the new persons, she is lesser known, but will for sure make trouble for the “deep state” - Anna Paulina Luna - will be heading an investigation committee into Covid-19, Epstein, JFK and 9/11…

This will be “funny to watch” … have your popcorn ready !!!

That’s my rep! She’s been great, and unlike some other Congress-critters, she’s reasonably smart and articulate.

Maybe Peter Thiel has gotten tired of the seasteading institute being nothing but a social club. Under what kind of relationship with the US could so-called oligarchs establish their designer cities outside the Constitution?

I just noticed I wrote this reply over a month ago and never posted it.

Roughly the second half is his personal story.

A good summary in opposition to those that like to perpetuate the stupid idea that Trump just runs around with his hair on fire.

We have all heard that advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. For those in politics and media, innovative thought is indistinguishable from chaos. He isn’t doing it like it always has been done and therefore he is chaotic.

He discusses the plan. Cut waste, use US assets to generate income including taking equity positions in corporations that would result in a win win, income from patents and tariffs.

We develop technology that is given to defense contractors to make weapons. We should get a paid back for the development.

He doesn’t mention this, but the same is true of patents we pay for from our universities. We should hold the rights. Same is true of NIH.

He indicates that you have to pay to have access to the greatest economy in the world. I will link a report from another person on the Trump team on tariffs. It appears that on a macro scale other countries currencies fell relative to the tariffs making it so that those countries paid for the tariffs.

He believes Bitcoin is a commodity and not a currency. Fits my belief that it is not and will never be currency so it fits my bias. He is saying that calling it a commodity rather than a currency will get the powers aligned in support instead of against. I think BTC is closer to a commodity also. Of course closer to gold like he says, but also it has a use as a means of currency exchange. This is valuable and useful to everyone in the world that cannot hold dollars.

I am not sure I like the idea of the US government taking an ownership position in corporations. It does make me think about the untapped financial power of the US.
