Visual Capitalist has published this infographic, with estimations for 2022 from the CIA World Factbook of population and birth rates. (Note that these items in the Factbook are often based upon data which may be several years old, and projections to the current year may be imprecise.)
With the world’s population projected to cross the 8 billion mark in November 2022, they also released “The World’s Population at 8 Billion”, showing where all the people are. The full article contains detailed maps showing the distribution for each region.
