Why Did an Airbus 321 Strike Its Wing on the Runway?

Interesting. They/he never really explain why this happened. Not sure whether this is corporate subterfuge, lack of serious investigation, or lack of thinking this was a serious issue/mistake. Yes, the crew did get some further training, as is appropriate, and no, they shouldn’t have been “punished” for making a mistake, but the root cause of this mistake has not been ID’d.

I watched this a few days ago. As I recall “pilot error” was the quietly- stated cause. Undoubtedly, my own bias as a pilot who has never flown with anything other than mechanical control yokes (even my simulator) leaves me suspect of accurate control-ability of aircraft using computer-linked side sticks with varying rules regarding precedents of contradictory inputs from two pilots. The captain was pilot flying. It didn’t say he was right handed, but 85% likely he was. My skepticism is even more the case when using side stick with non-dominant hand.
