What a brilliant operation Israel just carried out, with the simultaneously exploding pagers! It is the stuff of revenge fantasies!
But can any of you polymaths describe how they did it? There are so many steps involved. “A shipment of pagers destined for Hezbollah”…how did they know the ones they had altered would not end up in anybody else’s hands? (Which im assuming they didn’t, or we’da heard about it by now). Then I heard they used a company in Budapest to do the booby trapping. But how did they get Hezbollah to order from that co?
If this was an operation by Mossad, all I can say is I wish the US had an intelligence agency even HALF as good.
I mean, how many enemies did they just take out simultaneously? And WE can’t figger out how to eliminate ONE bad guy ( well, except with a bomb, but that’s so messy). During the First Gulf War I thought about this all the time: why don’t we just kill Saddam Hussein himself, instead of bombing his country? Didnt we have ANYBODY who coulda infiltrated his circle, slipped cyanide into his hummus? It only takes a few seconds to kill one human.
Of course, the fact that Israel just targeted and eliminated a buncha enemy soldiers WITHOUT killing mass numbers of Lebanese civilians is bound to draw the censure of the international community…a ltnough if you think about it, WHY? 
. I mean, until we can stop having wars, you’d think this kinda thing would be the ideal practice.

Who in the long supply chain knew what was in progress? My guess would be – Almost none of them; indeed, quite possibly none of them, since the allure of “Low Bid” reaches right down into the depths of each level in the supply chain. Did the guys who manufactured the explosives know what they were going to be used for? Did the guys who wrote the software realize how it would be used?
The one happy element in this for the DC Swamp Creatures is that no one will accuse the US of being involved. First, their US can no longer manufacture anything. Second, their Swamp cannot keep a secret.
Naturally, about half the ledes - especially from England (which has a history of being particularly brutal in their righteous military and other campaigns) - recite that children were killed. Of course, omitted is the lengths to which Israel, alone, goes to avoid civilian deaths. This libelous reporting could not be due to anything vaguely resembling hatred of Jews. No, of course not. You always hear from them how Israel’s enemies hide among civilians and target Israeli civilians as their primary target. Sure, that’s just how the brit media works.
If Britain faced an invasion from the continent today, they would send boats to assist. They richly deserve what they will soon get. Oh, they already are…

The latest news is that today it is Hamas radios going up in smoke, whereas yesterday it was only pagers. And tomorrow – Hamas laptops, maybe? This certainly makes it hard for Hamas to organize violence – and may turn out to save the lives of many people in Lebanon & beyond.
