2024 UK Civil War

Import the Third World, become the Third World.

At almost every turn, the dog that does not bark here is immigration. Aside from that, there is much notable.

One thing cued up here is that taxes are so bad that Brit expats fleeing the Iran war do not want to return home for fear of taxes.

That’s probably not the only reason they are reluctant to go back to their ever-more-crappy homeland. I never would have expected Dubai to be a more attractive place to live than the UK but here we are.

Not so many years ago, Hong Kong was the place to which dynamic young Brits gravitated – lots of jobs for anyone who was hard-working and spoke English. Of course, that changed when the status of Hong Kong was “adjusted”.

Hence the interest in Dubai – which offered some of the same attractions, albeit in a different political environment. The climate, of course, is much better in Dubai than in dismal wet England. But there are other factors today. The rulers of the Brits made conscious choices to allow the rise of crime, the deterioration in educational standards, the destruction of its former industrial base. Move to Dubai? The Irish would call that “voting with your feet”.

It’s been almost 30 years. Time flies.

Some societal systems - unlike ours - are patient. Another item on our list of impending dooms.

Reasonable since the English people are being replaced by wild animals.

Grok:
This is a post from @GBPolitcs (a UK political news account) posted today, March 14, 2026:

:police_car_light:NEW: Restore Britain has now overtaken the Conservative Party in membership numbers
[@CharlieSimpsonA]

It currently has ~5,500 likes and over 570k views, with replies mostly celebrating it as “inevitable” (including memes and comments from Restore Britain supporters). Some push back, calling the figures misleading or noting registration issues.

Quick context on the claim:

This directly echoes an announcement made today by Rupert Lowe (the key figure behind Restore Britain, an MP and former Reform UK affiliate). In a video and posts, he stated Restore Britain has now passed 113,000 members — eclipsing the Conservatives (recently reported/estimated at around 113,000, down from 123,000+ in mid-2025 and 131k earlier).

  • Restore Britain: A brand-new right-wing party/movement (launched ~1 month ago) focused on reversing mass migration, “restoring” institutions, and anti-establishment politics. They have a join site (restorebritain.org.uk), growing local branches, and self-reported rapid growth (from ~80k–110k recently to 113k+ now). It’s still being assessed/registered by the Electoral Commission.
  • Conservatives: Long-term membership decline is well-documented; official figures have trended downward for years.

Caveats (widely noted in replies and coverage):

  • These are self-reported numbers from Restore Britain with no independent audit yet.
  • Some critics argue the count includes overlaps (people already in other parties), or that full party membership rules don’t apply until official registration.
  • Tories’ exact current figure isn’t freshly audited by them in public today.

It’s generating buzz across X, Facebook, YouTube shorts of Lowe’s announcement, Reddit, etc., as a symbol of shifting right-wing momentum.

6 armed British police officers arrested a man named Lee yesterday at Manchester Airport as he returned to the UK from a vacation.

Talk shit about a superior officer and expect to get punished. This is the army, not some ladies’ garden party or Tarts & Vicars dress-up. And, btw, the observations about the first echelons are historically accurate.
