It is completely irrelevant that shutting down internal flights in France will necessarily increase ridership on France’s TGV high-speed rail network – which is effectively owned by the French State. There is no link at all. You can take that to the bank.

Interesting that confidence is lowest in Congress – which is supposedly the body that most closely represents the people in a “democracy”. And yet almost all those untrusted individuals in Congress will be re-elected time & again by the “people” for the rest of their lives. Houston, we have a problem!

How many possibilities do you care to add to the list:
- court rules truth not a defense to defamation;
- court rules that plaintiff gets discovery first (then bars defense discovery as a sanction for not complying with plaintiff discovery);
- court accepts plaintiff’s creation of a novel cause of action such as HIPAA violation…
