@RaymondShaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life. — Kamala Harris, probably.

Do you have a problem with a descendant of slave owners promoting racial stereotypes?
My first reaction to the story was this is fake. The first red flag was you are in maga country now.
Chicago is not maga country.
MAGA supporters never say MAGA country.
Maga is non existent in Chicago. The few Trump supporters in Chicago stay quiet
Smollett paid his conspirators by check. The check bounced. Blacks bouncing checks? I was stunned. My worldview was shattered that day.
That is all the reasoning needed for most of the ludicrous stories. One just has to hold back emotion for a moment and ask themselves if they could shoot a hole in the story.
I just saw on X someone proposing Biden’s signature was faked on the withdrawal. It had four or five previous signatures with the withdrawal obviously different. Problem is the other signatures are from different dates and are identical. It might be true, but very low probability in my opinion.
I wasn’t sure where to put this except for disgust and anger:

If he does this on a public basketball court in front of an audience, what does he do on the street at night? Awww. This poor brute is facing online words of disapproval for his completely unpunished violent battery (an unprovoked felony!) of a player who was unable to defend himself - and he becomes a “victim” of “bullying”?

“Why are successful, peaceful, orderly, prosperous, technologically advanced, democratically sound countries so rare and so few, and why do they clump up in one tiny corner of the globe, namely Europe, the Anglosphere? We also have Japan, which is a wonder, I think, in many ways, a very admirable country. Perhaps Taiwan. And why is the rest of the world essentially consisting of, in various degrees, failed states? Why do we have a post-Enlightenment portion of the world and a pre-Enlightenment portion of the world? And I guess, to be really crude about it, you would use Trump’s succinct phrase: Why are there so many shithole countries? Of course the moment you say that, people just get outraged: Oh, my God, you are a racist for saying that. And that, of course, lets them off the hook; they don’t have to answer the question, which is convenient."
She didn’t get the message: that is white people’s fault.
The lady does not know much about today’s England, apparently. Successful? Peaceful? Democratically sound?
That’s a fair point.
